Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Zauj account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app:

1. Open the Zauj app and sign in.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account and data are deleted immediately, and you will receive a confirmation email.

If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the address on your account at support@getzauj.com with the subject “Delete my account”, and we will delete your account and data for you.

Deleting your account permanently removes all of the data we hold about you, including your profile (name, email, phone), your proposals, uploaded photos, identity-verification documents, your chats and messages, push notification tokens, blocks and reports, and all other data tied to your account. This action is irreversible.

Your data is removed immediately upon deletion. Routine encrypted backups are purged on a rolling basis within 30 days. We retain only the minimal records we are legally required to keep (for example, records needed for fraud prevention or to comply with law), and only for as long as the law requires. Payments are processed by Google Play and are not stored by Zauj.

You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove data. In the app you can delete individual proposals, remove photos, edit or clear profile details, and block members — all without closing your account.
